JIM DAMASKE | Times NP_319479_DAMA_nayIPODS_3 (3/1/2010 LARGO) Faleycia Moore, 10, a 4th grader at Highpoint Elementary with her log sheet and classmate Geena Tucker, 10, with her Ipod Touch. - Highpoint Elementary is the first Pinellas County school to take part in a pilot project that gives students take-home Ipod Touch devices filled with apps geared toward mathematics. With 20 devices distributed, the program has worked so far, with an 80 percent parent participation rate and a waiting list of students. (The Internet is turned off on the devices).
